X-Men soccer defender Josh Read was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 15, 2019. Josh, a fourth year Human Kinetics student from Bath, England continued his strong defensive play in the X-Men’s 1-0 road victory over Dalhousie Sunday afternoon. Josh played outstanding defense in the shutout victory, anchoring the X-Men backfield. The two-time AUS first team all-star was also a U SPORTS second team All-Canadian last season.
