Boston Pizza StFX Co-Female Athlete of the Week
X-Women rugby second row Katie Pentz was named the StFX Co-Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 27, 2019. Katie, a third year Nursing student from Trenton, NS was named player of the game in StFX’s 29-17 win over Acadia to claim the AS championship title on Saturday. She was also honoured as the AUS playoff most valuable player. In the championship game she dominated the X-Women on defense, leading the team in tackles, and was a constant threat every time she ran with the ball, continually breaking the gain line.

X-Women cross country runner Jane Hergett was named the StFX Co-Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 27, 2019. Jane, a third year Nursing student from Port Williams, NS came second overall in the AUS championship 8k race on the weekend, garnering AUS all-star status with her 30:43 finish. Jane also helped lead the X-Women to a second place team performance.
