X-Women hockey forward Tyra Meropoulis was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 1, 2020. Tyra, a second year Business student from Edson, Alta. was the Player of the Game in StFX’s 3-2 win over UPEI on Tuesday night. The win clinched the semifinal series 2-0 for the X-Women who move on to the final series. Tyra scored the first goal of the game and assisted on the game winning goal. She was honoured this season as an AUS first team all-star and the AUS most valuable player as she lead the country in scoring with 37 points including 26 goals and 11 assists.
