X-Men soccer midfielder Dan Hayfield was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 8, 2019. Dan, a fourth year Arts student (5th year eligibility) from Exeter, UK played two strong games for the X-Men to open regular season play. In Friday’s 2-0 win over UPEI, Dan had seven shots and scored the first goal of the game then assisted on the second one. In Sunday’s 4-1 loss to UNB, he scored the X-Men’s lone goal on a penalty kick and also had 10 shots.
