X-Women basketball forward Marley Bonnick was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 12, 2020. Marley, a first year Arts student from Brampton, ON was the leading scorer in the game in StFX’s 65-46 win over DAL on Thursday. She scored 19 points and added 9 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals. Marley also contributed 15 points in Saturday’s close 68-62 loss to the same DAL team. She also had 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals in that game. Marley is currently second in both team scoring (13.1 PPG) and rebounding (6.7 RPG).
