X-Men cross country runner Jacob Benoit was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 6, 2019. Jacob, a first year Human Kinetics student from Windsor, NS was the individual winner of the Acadia Invitational 8k race on Saturday. His time of 26:42.13 bested the field of 30 runners and helped earn the X-Men to a first place team showing. It marked the second consecutive race that Jacob placed in the top three as he previously came second two weeks ago at the StFX Invitational.
