X-Women hockey forward Tyra Meropoulis was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 18, 2018. Tyra, a first year Business student from Edson, Alta. had a six point weekend in two games. In Sunday’s 7-0 shutout win over MtA, Tyra scored two goals and assisted on three others and was named the games’ second star. In Friday close 2-1 loss to UNB she assisted on the lone StFX goal. She is currently tied for AUS scoring with 13 points on the season (6 goals, 7 assists).
