X-Women soccer forward Kelsey Ellis was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 14, 2018. Kelsey, a 4th year Human Kinetics student from Ottawa, Ont. scored two goals on the weekend in two games. In Saturday’s 1-1 tie with DAL, Kelsey scored the lone goal, had 5 shots on net and received player of the game honours. In Sunday’s 2-2 tie with UPEI, she scored StFX’s second goal to even the game and also had 6 shots on net. Kelsey is currently tied for the most goals scored in the AUS with 7 and is second overall in total points with 10.
