X-Women rugby center Meghan Buchanan was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 28, 2018. Meghan, a 3rd year Business student from Lethbridge, Alta. received player of the game honours in StFX’s 38-7 win over Acadia to capture the AUS championship banner Friday night. Meghan was also named championship MVP, she scored the first try of the game for the X-Women and kept the team moving forward all game. She was also the main cog in the defensive wheel that helped StFX shutdown Acadia’s high-powered offense.
