X-Men track & field sprinter Tim Brennan was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 24, 2019. Tim, a fifth year Human Kinetics student from Beechwood, NB won three gold and one bronze medal at the AUS Track & Field Championship in Moncton this weekend, helping the X-Men to a third place finish overall. Tim was the AUS champion in the 600m race, clocking in at 1:21.96. He also won bronze in the 60m hurdles with an 8.81 finish, and anchored both the X-Men 4x200m and 4x400m relay teams to AUS gold medals. The X-Men 4x400m team broke the AUS record with their 3:25.55 time.
