X-Women hockey defense Heather Tillsley was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 29, 2017. Heather, a fourth year Business student from Aurora, ON was named the player of the game in StFX’s 3-1 win over UPEI on Sunday. She scored the opening two goals in the game, both coming in the second period, to help lead the X-Women to victory. Heather also played a strong game in StFX’s 4-2 win over Moncton on Saturday. Amongst AUS defensemen this season Heather is currently tied for sixth overall, with nine points including five goals and four assists and has a +6 rating.
