X-Women rugby flanker Sophia Parker was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 9, 2016. Sophia, a first year Human Kinetics student from Windsor, NS received player of the game honors in StFX’s 79-0 win over SMU on Wednesday night. She scored one try and played very well for the X-Women throughout the game. On the weekend in exhibition play, Sophia scored three tries in StFX’s 33-5 win over Ottawa and one try in their 27-5 win over Carleton.
