X-Women rugby prop/lock Ellen Murphy was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 16, 2016. Ellen, a fifth year Science student from Augustine Cove, PEI received player of the game honors in StFX’s 43-0 win over UPEI on Saturday afternoon. The win for the CIS No. 4 ranked X-Women sealed an undefeated 6-0 first place finish atop the AUS standings. Ellen scored one try in the game, playing strong both offensively and defensively for the X-Women as she rucked well and had a great performance in what was her last regular season game as an X-Woman.
