X-Women hockey goaltender Sojung Shin was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 23, 2014. Sojung, a third year Human Kinetics student (2nd year eligibility) from Seoul, Korea made 19 saves in leading the X-Women to a 3-0 shutout victory over Saint Mary’s Sunday afternoon. She has a perfect 5-0 record in all 5 games played this season for the CIS No. 9 ranked X-Women who currently sit in first place in the AUS. Sojung has only allowed seven goals against with a GGA average of 1.38 and a .937 save percentage.
