X-Men hockey defenseman Bronson Maschmeyer was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 4, 2015. Bronson, a third year Business student from Bruderheim, Alta. was the Player of the Game in the X-Men’s 2-1 victory over CIS ranked No. 3 Saint Mary’s Saturday night. He scored StFX’s first goal while on the powerplay in the second period and also created many scoring chances off the defense for the X-Men. Bronson is currently ninth in scoring amongst AUS defensemen with 10 points this season.
