X-Men hockey forward Eric Locke was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Feb. 15, 2015. Eric, a second year Human Kinetics student (1st year eligibility) from Toronto, ON scored 2 goals and had 2 assists in two AUS playoff games this past week over UPEI, helping the X-Men win their quarter-final series 2-0 and advance to the semifinal round. In Wednesday’s 4-2 victory over the Panthers, Eric had 2 assists in the game, then followed up with a two-goal performance in StFX’s 3-1 win over UPEI on Friday night. He scored the X-Men’s first two goals of the game, both in the first period. In 20 regular season games played this season Eric tallied 15 points (6 goals and 9 assists).
