X-Men hockey forward Michael Kirkpatrick was named the StFX Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 3, 2013. Michael, a third year Business student from North Sydney, NS was named player of the game in the X-Men’s 5-4 overtime win over Dalhousie on Friday. Michael scored the first goal of the game and the overtime game winning goal, and added an assist for the three-point night. So far this season he has 3 goals and 4 assists and is tied for fifth overall in AUS scoring with seven points.
