X-Women hockey forward Taylor Dale was named the StFX Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 12, 2014. Taylor, a second year Business student from Oromocto, NB collected a goal and two assists in two weekend games for the X-Women. In Friday’s 4-3 victory over St. Thomas, Taylor scored the game winning goal and also assisted on StFX’s second goal of the game. She added another assist in Sunday’s loss to Saint Mary’s. In 16 games played to date, she has recorded 10 points (4 goals and 6 assists). Taylor was a 2012-13 AUS second team all-star and made the AUS all-rookie team.
